A More Realistic Version?

Saw this in a store window just now:

God, grant me the senility to forget those I don't like much anyway;
the good fortune to bump into those I like;
and the eyesight to tell the difference.

It's things like this that make walking the dog in the winter cold more bearable.

'Course, if a sexy man or woman had come out of the store and offered me a hot chocolate and some good conversation, that would have helped too.
