I (Blank) When (Blank)
May. 17th, 2007 02:58 pmI looked on with amusement when the woman in front of me at the grocery store checkout yesterday purchased several different bottles of booze, two giant bags of limes, and three bottles of Listerine.
I thought of
fishdoctorpost when I overheard someone talking about a guy from Macedonia. Except that I heard it as "Mastondonia" and thought "HE WILL CRUSH YOU!"
I wanted my own personal cone of silence when my CTA train car was so loud that I wanted to smack some bitches. Between the group of teenagers and the group of loud Chinese ladies, I couldn't even concentrate on my book.
I was sad when I finally had the chance to spend $4 for an afternoon of delight with Stephen Colbert's ice cream but couldn't purchase it because it would have been a melty mess by the time I got it home on the aforementioned CTA.
I made a comic book concept reference (ok, it may not be solely a comic book concept but in my brain it is) when I was at a Thai Massage demonstration and several people found it quite amazing. Who knew that "everyone is the hero of their own story" is a step on the path to enlightenment (or something)?
ETA: I had to record and watch Cursed when I saw Michael Rosenbaum in the tv promo for it. At least it was better than Sweet November.
