Pillow Talk
Aug. 20th, 2003 07:44 amSeeing Pillow Talk in the park last night with
spasticat,
taraljc, and
xica_s was fabulous. Doris Day was spunky, Rock Hudson was slick, and Tony Randall was too damn funny. As always, the company was fantastic.
Oh, and in the short films before the movie, a guy proposed to his girlfriend. Yep, in a mini-movie he turned to the camera and asked her if she would marry him - turns out they had their first date two years ago at the outdoor filmfest. She said yes. It was all very adorable, even if I couldn't see where the couple was sitting. The whole audience "aww"-ed and clapped and cheered for them.
Next week, the last film of the series: Rear Window. Should be fun.
Speaking of pillow talk and rear portals, I just have to take a second to say how sexy and funny
timian and
ubertodd were in chat the other day. Who knew being so naughty was so hot? Thankfully, that was before Uber smelled like Thin Mints, otherwise I would have spontaneously combusted.
In other news, I have to admit that I just don't understand the appeal of the Three Stooges. I know that'll be sacrilege to some but I just don't get it.
Hugs to all of you! The first 200 hugged will also receive special gropings. Mwah!
