OK, a fannish question - has Atlantis come back from break already and I've just managed to miss it? Or is it coming back soon?

kstanley, what did you think of Carnivale? Once again, I feel like I have to re-watch it to catch everything. But upon first viewing, I'm really liking increasingly evil Justin. I was sitting there thinking, "Ooh, kstanley's probably enjoying this!" So, were you?

I'm hooked on Lost and TAR and The O.C. and yes, I still watch SV, but I really don't enjoy it as much as I used to. I haven't watched last night's 24 yet but I'm sure I'll be hooked on that too. And Medium interests me because I like Patricia Arquette and her funky teeth.

The funniest thing is that now I'm getting my girlfriend hooked on all of these shows too. Pretty soon she won't be completely lost when the Chicago area fen are chattering away...heck, she may even get an LJ at some point! I'm luring her over to the dark side! Do I get a prize for that? A toaster or something?

I would suggest taping tonight's 24 and watching last night's two hour premier and then tonight's episode in one marathon sitting. It was sooo awesome and I'm on pins and needles to find out what is going to happen tonight. It was easily the best two hours of tv I've seen all season!

Good idea! For the first season, I got into it too late so I decided not to watch it at all. Then, when it came out on DVD, I watched the whole damn season in a marathon...I couldn't get the next disc in fast enough when the previous one was over. This whole waiting between episodes thing is difficult!

Man, I have a lot to say about it and I am commited to writing a recap for Tara for Media Sharx, so you will see an entry in the next day.

Essentially, I'm disappointed with this ep. It moved WAY too fast.

I agree completely. Hence my desire to re-watch. Plus, sometimes I don't catch some of the audio the first time. The dream sequence audio usually require several watchings on my part to get it all.

I hope the writers can even out the pace to make the excitement last all season.

This Friday is the Battlestar Galactica premiere, and then next week Atlantis returns. I can't wait for either. Or for SG-1.

She might not be lost, but I'm sure she'll still be leery. Who wouldn't be? We be crazy bitches. And don't forget to tell her SV is so much more fun in a room with people who either mock it all or sigh at the Pretty (and sometimes both simultaneously).

I really loved the pilot of Medium. I hope it stays just as good. I was disappointed that they repeated the pilot on Thursday instead of playing the second ep like it was originally scheduled. Although maybe that means they are trying to keep it around and are hoping to bump up viewership.

Lost, TAR, and the OC are my staples. Along with Gilmore Girls. Woot for good TV. 24 was excellent last night. I didn't really get into the show until second season, but it's very riveting. Sadly Im on the only one down here who seems to watch it so I have no one to discuss it with!
