Has anyone out there heard of the song "Not In These Shoes"? I heard it once on 93XRT here in Chicago and loved it, but forgot the name of the singer (Crystal someone?). It's kind of a loungy/jazzy type song, and i'm fairly sure it's not a new one. In each verse, a different man invites the diva to go somewhere with him and each time she says "Are you kidding? Not in these shoes."

I was going to make this a longer entry but I'm sleepy now. And I've just decided to go on an impromptu road-trip to visit slodwick tomorrow, so it's off to bed for me.

Glad to help. I found it through Google. I did a search for "Not in these shoes" lyrics and it came up.

I did that and didn't find it. Guess I'm either blind or not as patient as you are. Or maybe it's a Canadian thing. Yeah, that's what I'm going to go with...it's a Canadian thing.
