I can't believe I forgot to list Midnight Oil. I went to their concert and got a t-shirt and was in love with the lead singer (bald, lean, possessing a barely contained sexual tension - hmm, sound familiar?) for about two months.

Oh, who am I kidding? I can sing along to almost every Steve Miller song there is. Not that I like Steve Miller, but that I just can't be as uppity as I would like to be (me and my New Wave aspirations - hee!).

Still - Van Halen? Granted, Eddie was cute in the 80s, and "Just a Gigolo" was a lunchtime sockhop standby, but... phew! So. Much. Hairspray. OK, not like Poison, or Whitesnake, or even Ratt, but they certainly owned shares in FinalNet Corp.

Yup, I have to admit to liking Van Halen -- both the David Lee Roth and the Sammy Hagar eras. And yes, AC/DC's "Back in Black" takes me right back to the lunchroom jukebox.

(Maybe not-so) Interesting Sidebar: I was playing "Cranium" (the fun trivia/abilities game we got from Starbucks), and I had to hum "Back in Black". Do you know how frickin' hard that it?!? Well, it was extra hard for me because I couldn't remember anything past the second line at the time.

It got so bad that spit came out my nose while I was humming, but it was a lost cause by that point.

Cranium is utterly fantastic...except when you have to hum stupid ass songs that you don't know because you were busy with other things back in the day. Ana, mine was Eye of the Tiger. Just couldn't think of more than a few notes, and my partner wanted to kill me. Bitch.

Oh, hahaha! My friend had to do that one, and she was laughing so hard that she actually peed herself. Well, she *was* preganant at the time, but when telling the story at parties, I usually omit to mention that fact.

Cranium is fuuuuun, except the molding clay part. I am a useless artist, and my figures all seem to look like a big clay hotdog.

ROFLMAO! I do okay with the clay modeling. It's the charades and the "who am I?" personages that I'm not particularly suited for. I'll let you imagine how goofy I can look at charades and what my partners say...I'm sure whatever you can think of will be right in line with what usually happens.

And don't even get me started on drawing with your eyes closed without taking your pencil off the paper.
