A Reprieve for Uber-Procrastinator

disbelief11Oh thank goodness, I've been granted a reprieve! There's been a humongous monkey on my back -- I've been calling it Fluffy to try to make friends with it, though that hasn't really worked. Nope, Fluffy has acted more like Audrey II from Little Shop Of Horrors, demanding more and more of my blood and pushing me to homicide. Sure, sure, Fluffy the monkey is all my fault. I have superior procrastination skills.
Anyway, yay! TPTB have been kind enough to forcibly remove Fluffy from my back, if only for a little bit. I'd praise the lord if I were at all inclined to do that sort of thing. I may offer up a sacrifice of food, wine, and song on my fanfic muse's altar, just to see if this luck is extending to her good graces also.
There is one more good thing to come out of this -- I actually buckled down and got a huge chunk of the work done this afternoon. So I have less to do before the new deadline. Although the fanfic images "buckled down" bring to my mind are not going to help me get anything else done anytime soon.
