What a Great Weekend

I just got back from visiting one of my best friends (who lives far, far away from me, which really, really sucks).

Anyway, it was a fantastic weekend! It's always great to spend time with her - she's smart, funny, incredibly nice & generous, beautiful, and so much fun to be around that I think sometimes other people are jealous that they're not having as good a time as we are. You know those friends you have who just click with you so much that you start to wonder if you didn't know each other in a past life or something? Yep, that's her, and I adore visiting her.

Plus, this weekend the weather cooperated with some sunny (if chilly) days, which was great. Fun outside stuff like walks and communing with nature and getting coffee and petting dogs and smiling at cute little kids happened on these walks. Yay, outside time before the really crappy winter weather sets in upon us!

But yeah, back at home now. I miss my friend already, dammit. Ah, well, guess there's always another visit in the future, right?
