So remember the moving I've been talking about? The boxes, the storage space, the collecting bids for painting, the other random and annoying crap that goes along with moving?

Postponed.

Yep. Postponed.

Different position for Mr. Disbelief at his company? Check.

Increase in salary to go along with new position? Check.

Telling us to move to Denver before getting all the appropriate sign-offs from the people who are ultimately in charge, so that all of a sudden we're not moving to Denver - at least not moving right now? Double-fucking-check.

Now the question is this: do I collect the boxes from storage and unpack them again or do I leave them there because eventually we will be moving, although goodness only knows when? And what did I do in a previous life to earn myself this kind of packing/unpacking karma?

Thank you, Mei! I'm glad I'll have the chance to hang around with all of the Chicago TWoPpers longer than previously expected.

As for the work, I'm really leaning toward keeping all the stuff I've already packed in storage, no matter how long it is until we move. Who cares if the book shelves are empty and a bunch of our knick-knacks and mementos aren't immediately accessible, right?

I'd love to live in Seattle again - it's beautiful and I had such a great time there before. It's definitely on my short list of places I'd like to be.
