I've Got The Fever
Dec. 4th, 2006 02:17 pmWhy, on a day when the weather is 26F and feels like 11F, do I have the incredible urge to take the CTA downtown and go shopping on State Street? Am I completely crazy?
I know it'll be "colder than a witch's tit in a steel bra," as my friend Jeff says, and I know that people will drive me absolutely insane as they get in my way and do stupid things like stop suddenly at the top of the escalator...and yet...Christmas shopping!
Really, I want to get it done so I can send the packages I need to send to other states. Also, I want to get it done so I can start saving my money again instead of spending it. And I want to get it done so I can start wrapping!
I just don't know what to do.
