A Smallish Rant or Two
Aug. 9th, 2002 05:57 pmI have something to say to two people out in the world today. Unfortunately, I was driving along in my car when I met these people, so I wasn't able to say it to their faces. Saying it here will have to do, I guess.
First, to the person who made my cheeseburger at Portillo's: when I asked for no mayo, I'm pretty sure I didn't ask for extra ketchup. So I don't know what made you decide to put approximately 5 times the normal amount on the burger, transforming it into something entirely too sweet (ketchup is very sweet) and causing the lettuce to slide around in the most annoying way. If I hadn't been in the drive thru and already down the street, I would have made you fix it for me. You always get fucked in the drive thru, eh? Hey you, don't do it again.
Second, to the person in the blue car at the intersection of Cicero and Armitage: when your light is green, there are no pedestrians in the crosswalk, and you have your own turn lane, there is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for you coming to a complete stop in MY lane before executing your right turn. Dammit. I really wanted to hit you, just because, but that whole insurance-rates-would-rise issue kept me from doing that.
Other than that, life is fantastic! I got nine glorious hours of sleep last night (though it pained me to ignore the urge to log on for just one more minute. And Yippee!
