There's been a lot of laying on the couch since I've gotten back home, as I do my best to get well before tomorrow night's shebang.
Things I've noticed aren't so good about said sickness:
There are more, of course, but I didn't mean for this to turn into a pity party. So, onward mateys! to the good stuff about being sick:
Speaking of Buffy, I've never watched the show before (yeah, I know, where have I been?). Now that I've watched the first season, I'd like to see more but Netflix doesn't have season 2 or 3. Anyone have those on DVD? If so, would you be willing to loan them to me? I'd be eternally grateful and would pay you for postage and stuff and may even include a gift when I return the DVD's to you.
Things I've noticed aren't so good about said sickness:
- your back starts to hurt from sitting/laying around too much
- you can't sing along with your cd's without your pets coming to see what all the caterwauling is
- chocolate makes you cough more
There are more, of course, but I didn't mean for this to turn into a pity party. So, onward mateys! to the good stuff about being sick:
- you have a really good excuse to surf the 'net all damn day
- you discover lots of good stuff on ebay during the surfing - and get outbid on half of it. No, trust me, this is a good thing.
- fig newtons count as health food - they're packed full of vitamins and count as a fruit serving!
- you finally have time to watch the last disc of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season One
