[livejournal.com profile] slodwick, have you seen the latest Sprint PCS commercial? Where the guys says he asked for oxen and got dachshunds? Because I totally thought of you and the monkey with a cold as I laughed at the dachshund stampede and the dachshunds in the yoke. Damn, those commercials are funny.

Yeah, so, it's been a total tv night. The new (and final) season of OZ started tonight on HBO - and it was good. Not sayin' anything else about it now, for fear of spoilering anyone.

Also saw a Cooper Mini commercial featuring a bulldog that made me smile. Of course, my Fred is much cuter than the dog in the commercial. I may be biased, however.

On another note, I realized that I still hate Sunday nights. I used to think that once I got out of school I'd lose that whole "shite, the weekend's over, I'd better write that paper" anxiety. Then I figured that had just morphed into a "shite, the weekend's over, I have to go back to work tomorrow" anxiety. But I've been out of school for a long while and am now a "kept woman", so I really have no excuse for feeling this way. Mondays aren't the problem for me; it's Sunday night. Anyone else feel the same way?

Ah well, off to read more of [livejournal.com profile] seperis's fantastic HumanClark series.

DUDE!!!

That commercial nearly made me snort Coca-Cola out of my nose! 200 Dachshunds! And the yoke! Hee!!

But, really, my fave bit is the "Stampede!" yell, and the looks on the two guys' faces. Priceless. I adore Sprint.

Yes, they've got some classic commercials. This one, the monkey one, Seigfried and Roy, the soap opera star...classic.

OK, all of those ads made me laugh hysterically. I wish I could find them online to show my friends who don't have a TV.

Really, REALLY creative people Sprints got working for them. Much, much better than the irritating "can you hear me now?" guy.

They're all good, but I still love the "monkey with a cold" the best. He's wearing a little monkey-sized robe for pete's sake! It doesn't get any better than that. It's a good thing I don't have a cell phone because I would have to use Sprint to reward them for that commercial. Verizon, which is supposed to have better service, I can not use because its logo is the worst I've ever seen and an embarrassment to the graphic design profession. ~Bunglegirl
