Yesterday I went and had a massage at Urban Oasis. I just have to tell you guys that this is the most fabulous place! I love going there.

They only offer massages and salt glow treatments, so it's a very relaxing place - there's no one there stressing over their haircut or manicure or whatever, so it's very calm. And the people there are so nice and friendly. I always feel like a princess when I go there.

Those of you who are in Chicago (or who are close enough to Chicago) should definitely treat yourself to some pampering there. And from now on, I'll gladly take anyone who comes to visit me - it'll be a good excuse for me to go again too!

30 minute massages are $55 - but trust me when I say that 30 minutes is not enough. I usually treat myself to an hour massage ($85) and it flies by. Maybe the next time I'll go all the way and go for a 90 minute massage ($115). Or a 70 minute hot stone massage ($105).

The best part? They offer gift certificates. So whenever it's close to my birthday or Christmas, I hint to my family that a gift certificate would be appreciated. That ploy works surprisingly well.

Urban Oasis is on Maple, just off of State Street. In March they'll be opening a second location at North & Sheffield.
