1000% Better

I haven't been around much lately and that's because...I was sick. Again. Unfortunately, not just with the seemingly never-ending cold/sinus infection stuff either. Nope, Mr. Dis brought stomach flu germs into the house. I took care of him over the weekend and sure enough, come Monday morning (exactly when it would have been nice to have someone else here to walk the dog) I ended up with the damn flu.

Now that I feel about 1000% better, I'm slowly trying to catch up on LJ - including posting comments in all your journals to answer the 5 questions meme.

I've missed all of you! Today has been a scrunchy day for sure. For one, I watched Wonder Boys again, just to remind myself of the role Alan Tudyk played. As well, I also spotted this tidbit in an interview with George Clooney about his directorial debut in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind:

The prominence of random goats in "Confessions," however, springs simply from Clooney's sense of humor.

"Goats make us laugh," he said. "I don't know why. The animal wrangler lady kept coming over, and I'd go, 'Do you have more goats?' She'd go, 'Yeah.' And I'd go, 'Bring some more goats tomorrow because goats make us laugh.'"

That Clooney and his goats. Peace out!

PS- it's freakin' COLD here. Brr. Bring on the hot cocoa and the snuggling in front of the fireplace, please.

Wow Did, you've been sick forever! I'm taking echinecea (however it's spelled) at the moment and wearing long underwear. I think the cold is forcing my body into hibernation, I slept 10 hours last night and was super late for work.

Yes, it certainly seems like forever. Even with all the vitamins I take, I've always been an easy viral mark. It does make me feel really bad about all my bitching whenever I think of someone with a more serious illness...but geez, it's hard to remember that when you feel like crap.
