Dog Walkers Log, Leash Date (whatever the hell it is)

After a few days of having two dogs, Mr. Dis and I made the decision not to keep dog #2, Charlie. Technically, I made the decision, since Mr. Dis left it all up to me...which has only helped to ratchet up the guilt level.

It was just too much work for me to handle, so I took Charlie back to the trainer's this afternoon. Thankfully, once I was there, they told me that another bulldog owner had said she'd take Charlie. Lessening of guilt is always good.

In other news, my heart goes out to all my friends and family in the Northeast, who are buried under a hell of a lot of snow.

As well, my condolences to the families of the people who died at a club here last night when panic broke out and people were trampled trying to get to the exits.

Makes all my "trouble" seem so petty.

I know it probably was a difficult decision. It's good that Charlie has another potential home. He was cute too.

Yes, that was terrible. I woke up this morning to this sad news. Things like this really emphasize the need to focus on safety precautions. I'm sure the owners probably didn't like the idea of unlocked doors where people could sneak in and out of the place, and they probably skimped on security to monitor those doors. Very sad.
