One of my cats loves to wedge herself into the space between the top of my computer monitor and the shelf of my computer desk. It's not a lot of space and she's not a svelte cat, so it's pretty funny to watch her get up there.

Once she's up there, it kinda looks like she's bearing the weight of the desk on her shoulders. Here, see my weird cat for yourself:

Oh yeah, baby, it's a drive-by posting of a pic of one of my cats. Can you *stand* the excitement?

Bwa ha ha! Now that there was *my* excitement for the day! What cracks me up is how uncomfortable...yet stubborn...she looks up there. Guess it's all about the effort and the warm, toasty computer monitor! :)

Stubborn is exactly right! I've tried to pry her off of there before, and gotten nowhere for my efforts. Crazy cat warming her crazy fat tummy.

Heh heh heh.

Cats. If they can jam themselves somewhere, they will!

Yep. Or climb into a box and then wail piteously when they can't get back out. Silly things.

Right now I'm bending and unbending paper clips for fun. Bring on the cat pictures!

Wow, that's something I've never considered doing. I'll have to add that to my repetoire.

Cats love those small, intimate spaces. They're probably best suited for NYC apartment living.

My cats especially love the small, intimate spaces because the dog (a.k.a. the smelly, lumbering beasty - to them, anyway) can't get to them. Anywhere dog-free is nirvana to the kitties.

Hee! That's funny. And that's a really beautiful cat. How do you keep the cat and dog from fighting each other though? I'm thinking about getting a cat. :)

How do I keep the dog and cats from fighting? I have no control over that. Actually, the cats pretty much stay where the dog can't get to them (though he has cornered them in the litter box before). The dog used to chase them, but eventually figured out that they want nothing to do with him. And when he forgets, they whap him on the nose. Thankfully, they don't have front claws; otherwise his nose would be completely shredded.
