I'm back safe and sound from my trip to California. Everything was fine - no more than the normal psychological scarring that occurs when in such close proximity to familial insanity.

Which does make for funny stories to tell to your friends at some later date, so that's a positive way to look at it, I guess.

I missed you all while I was gone. Glad to be back to partake in your glorious wit and humor! Hugs and smooches (and other more bawdy activities) for all of you!

(PS to slodwick: I think of you every time I see that beer commercial where the guy's singing the song of praise for "The Wingman." Wingman!)

I missed you too! While I was gone I didn't have much opportunity to get online. Dealing with a 2-year-old who goes on a 90 minute crying jag because you won't let her have any candy ("CAN-neee!") doesn't leave much time for computer activities.

I love my nieces, but everytime I visit them, I am so glad I don't have kids yet.
