It's another one of those days when I just don't want to do anything. Jeez, I hate these days but I can't muster up the energy to be excited about anything.

Some stuff that has occurred to me:

1. Pepperjack cheese that doesn't have enough pepper flakes in it is a disappointment.



2. The extra-special Rice Krispie treats I make are addicting.



3. My Peter Gallagher love (I can't remember exactly when it started, but it's been there for a while) is growing with each new episode of The O.C.



4. I can't remember who gave me my first kiss. Am I the only woman who can't recall the person with whom I first sucked face?

13 year old me=painfully shy

15 year old him=total delinquent

him: Have you ever kissed anyone?

me: um no

him: Well you will today.

he then leans in with no warning and proceeds to give my tonsils a thorough taste test. Oh by the way, the boy was a heavy smoker. My only thought was. "This is so gross. Why do people like this?" Fortunately he was carted off to Juvie 2 weeks later so he couldn't push anything worse than bad kissing on me. It was another 2 years until I learned kissing can actually be fun.

So yeah, unpleasant. :)

No, you aren't the only one! When I was younger, I used to be that girl that would run around kissing all the boys. Between that, spin the bottle, and truth or dare, I don't remember at what point that kind of stuff segued into an *actual* kiss.

At least you have a good reason to not recall your first kiss. It's not like I've had all that many people kiss me over the years. Maybe I've just blocked it out because it was bad, or maybe it's just that it was so boring that it didn't bear remembering.

Some friends and I were commenting on Peter Gallagher's steady incline into hotness as he ages only yesterday. I didn't think he was all that yummy when he was in "Sex, Lies and Videotape", but his face has gotten a lot more character since then, and he now falls into the broad category of "People I Would Do".

Weird. Or maybe I'm just embracing the older man love thing a little too much.

Don't beat yourself up about the kiss thing. Not remembering could be a good thing. I mean, I remember my first kiss, but all I remember about it was who it was with, where it was, and how bad it was.

It was reallllllly bad. Blech. Spitty and wrong angled and bad-breath'd boy and closely observed by my friends. Absolutely terrible.

I don't even remember him in SL&V, isn't that funny? I remember James Spader and Andie what's-her-face and Laura what's-her-face. But not Peter. I guess it's just the other things I've seen him in that have created the PG love.
